The Performers include Rick Henry on trumpet and Len Kellogg on trombone. Both are graduates of UNC's Music Education program and both are retired from teaching in the Thompson School District. Trumpet player Mark Manges has a master’s in Trumpet Performance from CSU and is a highly sought after freelance performer and private lesson instructor. Janice Schlieker, who plays the French Horn, is an ordained pastor. Janice performs regularly with the Rocky Mountain Horn Ensemble. Jim Schafer on tuba, is the longest tenured member of the group, joining in 2001. He a graduated from CSU in 1991 with a Business degree, having played in the Wind Ensemble for three and a half years.
